Current Experiement Character Generation

Characters are built on 250 points with 50 points of disadvantages and 5 points in quirks. Starting money is 1000. However, both Signature Gear and Trading Points for Money give 500 per point instead of 100. Remember signature gear must be a single item or kit. Left over money is lost. For example 3 points in signature gear would a be needed for a steel corslet costing 1300. The 'extra' 200 is lost.

To make character creation as quick as possilble, the following templates provide a guide to character creation. Players are not required to use a character template, but should at least read through the templates closest to the charater they wish to play to get a feel for the level of power I expect. Additional Advantages, Perks, Powers and Talents described on any of the templates can generally be used while making your own character. Please ask if you have any questions. If you choose to free-build please try not to spread yourself over to many roles as it steals the niche specific roles from other players.

The following character templates are currently available:

Each of the above templates have already been modified by my house rules. The Articifer, Ninja, Psi, Scholar and Summoner templates are also available but haven't been converted or are just not available as of yet. If there is interest, I can convert them, as necessary, on the fly.

Racial Templates can also be applied as a lens to existing character templates. Obviously, character templates may need to take less advantages in order to pay for the racial template.

An additional race, the Monkey-Folk, has been added to the setting. Similuar to the Cat-folk, yet more reclusive, the monkey folk are a semi-beastial race. A race template for GCS is available as well as a simple PDF overview of the race. The other race's that still need templates are the Frog-folk, the Lizard-folk, and the Rat-folk. If there is interest in playing one of those races, I can put them to the front of the to-do list.
